What are Feather Braided-in Extensions?

Feather Braided-in Extensions are one of the most popular hair extension methods in Korea, loved by many top celebrities. Now, this unique technique is quickly spreading across North America, the U.K., and Australia.

Unlike other extensions that use glue, heat, or metal rings, Feather Braided-in Extensions are secured with soft cotton thread—so they are gentle on your scalp and hair. They feel lighter, more natural, and allow you to tie your hair up freely without discomfort. Because of this, they are considered one of the most comfortable and damage-free extension methods available.

 Is it better than tape-in, microbeads, or keratin extensions?

• Unlike tape-in, microbeads, weft, keratin, or V-light extensions, this method stays secure even with sweat and workouts, without scalp irritation.
• No damage to your natural hair during removal and reinstallation, and it’s easy to maintain.

Will this method damage my natural hair when I remove it?

No, it won’t. Unlike tape-ins or keratin bonds that often cause breakage or hair loss, the braided-in method uses soft cotton thread, so removal is gentle and completely damage-free.

Can it really stay secure even with sweat and workouts?

Yes, absolutely! Unlike tape-in, microbeads, weft, keratin, or V-light extensions that slip down or loosen with sweat, Feather Braided-in Extensions are pinch-braided with cotton thread, so they stay secure even during heavy workouts, swimming, or sweating. There’s no glue or metal, which means no irritation on your scalp.

You can also style your hair just like your own — including tying it up in a ponytail or pinning it up. It feels natural and lightweight while staying firmly in place.

Can I reuse the same extension hair, or do I need to buy new hair every time?

Yes, you can reuse the same hair for up to a year. You only need removal and reinstallation every 2 to 3 months as your natural hair grows. This makes it much more cost-effective compared to other methods that require purchasing new hair each time.

How long does the installation usually take?

The process typically takes about 3 to 5 hours, depending on your hair and the desired volume. Our specialist will ensure everything is done carefully for the best result.

I have thinning hair on the top of my head. Will extensions make that area look fuller?

Extensions are applied 2–3 inches below the top of your head, so they will not cover thinning areas at the crown. If you want to add fullness on top, a hair topper would be a better solution.

Can I take out the extensions by myself?

It’s possible, but we don’t recommend it. Removing them on your own could damage the extension hair or even break your natural hair.
 If you live far away, such as in another province or country, we can provide you with detailed step-by-step instructions so you can remove them safely.
